Most tests I've seen rank it middling in performance.  I'd certainly
consider Rising over ClamAV.

I will not be so quick to dismiss Rising AV merely because of its
Chinese background or recommendation from Bear Bottoms.  Many of the
leading AV products are from former Communist countries.  My only
contention is the recommendation of the product based upon the GUI and
footprint rather than its main purpose, detecting and cleaning malware.
So far Bear's recommendation of this product hasn't touched upon its
performance that I can see.
